Lasers and Devices Lasers use light energy to non-invasively remove or improve unwanted skin conditions. Without damaging surrounding skin, lasers can remove what you don’t want and keep the rest. AVAVA
The Avava Laser is a fractional, non-ablative laser that uses Focal Point Technology for a more precise, deeper fractional laser treatment. It is designed to stimulate collagen production, rejuvenate the skin, and is safe for all skin tones and types, including darker skin. The laser uses a 1550nm wavelength in a novel way, and
BBL
Broadband light (BBL) is an intense pulsed light device that improves both red and brown discoloration on the skin. Best improvements are seen after a series of treatments. Downtime is relativel minimal. BBL is great for redness from rosacea and brown spots from sun damage. The BBL not only makes skin look healthy, it makes it act young again.
LOW DENSITY FRAXEL THULIUM
A low density Fraxel Thulium treatment is a lower-downtime version of the Fraxel done, often done in a series. It improves minor sun damage, melasma and minor texture changes. The low density Fraxel Thulium is an easier way to achieve the benefits of a Fraxel Thulium when downtime is a concern.
THERACLEAR
The TheraClear™ is a gentle, but effective alternative treatment for acne that addresses all of the components that contribute to acne formation and breakouts. The treatment combines a light therapy and vacuum suction to remove plugged pores, destroy bacteria and decrease sebum production. It’s a safe and very comfortable complimentary treatment for acne.
SOFWAVE
Sofwave™ is a unique, non-invasive treatment for skin lifting and tightening. GENIUS RF
Genius RF microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that combines traditional microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy to address various skin concerns. The treatment aims to improve skin texture, reduce wrinkles, tighten the skin, and stimulate collagen production. Tiny needles are combined radiofrequency energy.
PICOGENESIS/LASER GENESIS
Picogenesis and laser genesis are no-downtime procedures used for pigmentation, wrinkles, redness and scarring. Picogenesis is used in a series for melasma and the most difficult pigmentary disorders, along with wrinkles. Laser genesis has been deemed the “red-carpet” laser treatment because it gives a subtle improvement that can be seen immediately in redness and skin texture.
HALO
The Halo laser is an ablative plus non ablative fractional resurfacing laser treatment that is great for improving the appearance of sun damage and aging of the skin as well as scarring and texture changes. A Halo treatment results in the “Halo glow” which represents new collagen formation. Ablative and non-ablative fractional resurfacing lasers have been proven to reduce the risk of some skin cancers.
ABLATIVE FRACTIONAL OR FULLY ABLATIVE LASER
Ablative fractional and fully ablative erbium lasers are the most powerful lasers for sun damage treatment. In a controlled and safe way, they remove portions of the skin to improve wrinkles, scars, and discoloration. These lasers have also been shown to improve the health of the skin. Erbium done in a fully ablative manner has less potential for some serious side effects than the fully ablative CO2.
FRAXEL THULIUM
The Fraxel Thulium is a non-ablative fractional laser used to remove sun damage, including pre-skin cancers and brown spots. An improvement in texture can also be seen. In some instances, a series of treatments is needed for the best results. The Fraxel Thulium is one of the lasers that can be used for melasma in controlled circumstances. It also has been shown to reduce the risk of some skin cancers.
TETRA CO2
The Deka Tetra is a fractional carbon dioxide (CO2) resurfacing treatment to improve the appearance of sun damage, wrinkles and scarring. A series of Tetra treatments will improve wrinkles around the mouth and on the face, along with the discoloration of sun damage and textural changes like scarring. Fractional CO2 lasers have been shown to reduce the risk of some skin cancers.
AVICLEAR
AviClear is the first FDA-cleared laser device of its kind and the first laser treatment for acne. AviClear uses 1726 nm wavelength laser energy to selectively target and dramatically reduce oil gland size and activity. Targeting oil glands removes the fuel to the acne fire, resulting in long term results. This laser device is a drug-free, chemical-free, and topical-free acne treatment, safe for all skin types and colors.
