The Full-Service Practice, Led By Dr. Kelly Stankiewicz, Will Provide High Quality Skin Care to Patients in Utah, Which Has Highest Melanoma Rate in the U.S.
PARK CITY, UTAH – Dr. Kelly Stankiewicz is introducing an innovative, state-of-the art dermatology practice to the Park City community. The Dermatology House, a full-service clinic focusing on medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic care for all ages, will begin seeing patients at its expansive suite in the Silver Mountain Sports building in Kimball Junction on November 8. Offering a unique departure from traditional, more sterile medical offices, Dr. Stankiewicz engaged an interior designer to create a modern, soothing environment to ensure patients feel relaxed and welcome. Its location is convenient for those in the Salt Lake Valley, Summit County, and Wasatch County.
An outdoor enthusiast and avid skier, she moved her family from Chicago to Park City to fulfill her lifelong dream of establishing her own practice.
“I’m looking forward to treating patients in a place where the harsh sun and dry air that accompany high altitude living pose great challenges to our skin health,” says Dr. Stankiewicz. ”While Utah has the highest rate of melanoma skin cancer in the entire country, and Summit County melanoma rates are double that of the state, there are surprisingly few dermatologists practicing in Utah. And no other practice is offering this type of full-service dermatological care people are craving. I’m excited to have this opportunity to provide the highest quality, compassionate care where there is a great need and to become an integral member of this wonderful community.”
Featuring six exam rooms, The Dermatology House will offer a complete range of skin care for patients, including skin cancer screenings and treatment for rashes, acne, hair loss, and any other skin concerns. The practice addresses cosmetic needs with the industry’s most state-of-the-art lasers that can treat blood vessels on the face, rosacea, red spots, brown spots, hyperpigmentation, tattoos, wrinkles, scarring, and birthmarks. They will also offer chemical peels, PRP injections, sclerotherapy, Botox/Dysport, fillers (Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse, Sculptra).
A board-certified dermatologist and graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. Kelly Stankiewicz completed her dermatology residency at the Dartmouth Medical Center in 2010 followed by a clinical fellowship at Harvard Medical School in laser and cosmetic dermatology in 2011. While at Harvard, she had the opportunity to learn from the innovators of the latest laser technologies. For the past six years, Dr. Stankiewicz has been a partner in a large multi-specialty group in the Chicago suburbs. She often speaks nationally on laser treatment, particularly tattoo removal.
The Dermatology House will feature the best skin care products available, offering the most advanced technology in anti-aging, skin protection and repair, and high quality sunscreens that are crucial given Utah’s high mountain environment.
Dr. Stankiewicz is passionate about medical innovation and has extensive clinical research experience. “I am constantly learning and incorporating the latest in medical research in order to find the most cutting edge ways to prevent and treat a wide range of skin issues my patients experience,” she explains.
At its convenient location off I-80, The Dermatology House features six exam rooms, a large waiting room, private waiting areas, underground parking, and seven lasers.
